SANDRA BURLIZZI
NATIONALITY: Italian.
ACTIVITIES: Art and Crafts & Mall Walking.
Founder and activities coordinator of Re Creation Group, social media manager and event planner.
My name is Sandra, I arrived in Abu Dhabi in 2014 and after a week I was already part of an Italian recreational club. Still being busy with my work in Italy and with my family abroad prevented me from establishing anything concrete here in Abu Dhabi. The experience gained in different thematic groups has allowed us to enter the second, unplanned phase of this project which has become the creation of an international group capable of walking alone. The idea for me was to provide a silver lining for people who felt lonely and in need of socializing in a foreign country or getting closer to various cultures and ethnicities as an integral part of this wonderful country. I have always been an active and enterprising woman but I felt the need to share interests and passions with other people, so I created Re_Creation which is a play on words that means leisure or entertainment but also creativity. I want to thank the volunteers who support me in this project and who I will introduce to you every time. I remind you that this group is not for profit and that every activity we undertake is completely free. The only cost we share is for the purchase of materials that we use for the craftsmanship of our recreational works or for the consumption that a restaurant, which hosts us, requires when we hold a meeting. I would like to thank all members of the group interested in our activities and if anyone would like to volunteer to lead a group of people towards a passion to share, it would be greatly appreciated. Contact me if you have interesting ideas to propose. Thank you all.
I share a link that takes you to my world as a writer. The poems are a mix of reality and fantasy. Short stories written as a reminder to develop more complex stories in the future. They are the result of the elaboration of stories told to me or perceptions of stories read and experienced by other people. They are written in Italian but by copying and pasting them on the google translator you can understand their meaning. Subsequently, for those who want to follow an emotional writing path, experienced as emotional therapy, can write to me and we will evaluate together the dates to start a meeting.

My name is Cinzia Manzoli, an expert in the Italian language and culture with a degree in Languages and Educational Sciences. I am a university professor with more than twenty-five years of teaching experience, specializing in Italian as a foreign language.
For almost fifteen years, I have been living in Abu Dhabi, where I teach Italian at the university to Arabic-speaking students. This international environment has enriched my teaching methods and strengthened my ability to connect different linguistic and cultural worlds.
My goal is to inspire excellence in learning by guiding students to discover not only the structure of the Italian language, but also the elegance, creativity, and depth of its culture. I firmly believe that teaching is not just about transmitting knowledge, but about opening minds and shaping future global citizens.

ELENA TROSHINA BASANO

Elena Troshina Basano was born in Severodvinsk, in Northern Russia’s Arkhangelsk region, and grew up surrounded by music. She later collaborated with renowned musicians including Rida Zaarour, Oxana Volkova, Ziad Khouloki, Elena Karavatskaya, and Alexey Lyga. She resumed her studies at the Moscow Academy of Gnesini, graduating with honors in 2005 as a professional singer and vocal teacher in pop and jazz. While teaching, she performed at jazz and blues festivals with her band North Project, recording a CD in Moscow in 2007.

MACHA BELLOTTI
NATIONALITY: French with Russian roots.
ACTIVITY: Painting and French cuisine.
Emotions are everything, I paint everything that touches me, a landscape, a bird, a child's face. I use traditional materials , oil and brush on linen or coton canvas to capture movement and life. Find the beauty in some battered old porch ,while it still stands, or a simple flower...I try to capture its light, its uniqueness, its delicacy and strength.
My goal is to inspire those who see my work, talk to them like a book would, igniting their imagination and create emotions.
