Behind the Group Administration

Re_Creation Group was founded by Sandra Burlizzi in 2019, non-profit group, with the need to connect people through languages, art, culture, wellness and so much more.

It's also a way for new people to have a point of reference to feel at home

and not disoriented in a new place.

Sandra Burlizzi was born in Brindisi in 1965, twenty-three years later she will leave her land and family to begin an itinerant journey, as a young married woman, in Lombardy - Italy. Soon her days will be brightened by the presence of a beautiful little girl. Due to her husband's job, the family will start moving frequently: The Netherlands, England, France to land in the United Arab Emirates. A life characterized by continuous meetings and greetings. Nicknamed by friends "The woman with the suitcase", Sandra will no longer have the opportunity to continue her work as a marketing and communication consultant with specialization in corporate business development so she takes the opportunity to devote herself to her passions, reading, writing, photography, art , acting and singing. She will resume singing and interpreting songs from the soft music category and photography will help her make her best memories indelible. Writing is experienced by her as a sort of liberation of the senses… a way to dig deep within her and feeling the need to keep her writings in order, she decided to publish some of her poems on the publication series Riflessi with Aletti publisher and she has also published her writings on the international web

Arrived in the United Arab Emirates in 2014, after about a week, she will be personally invited by the wife of the Ambassador in force at that time, to join  Italian Social Club of women which took the name of CICER very attached to the affection of the Italian Embassy itself. A close collaboration with the women of the group will begin, leading her to appreciate the warmth of each organized event. Then, the choice to approach new knowledge in the international arena was inevitable. In a foreign country the need to communicate with other human beings who are not only part of your own ethnicity always arises. Sandra established a contact with The Language Club group and began the approaches to various cultures. This experience led her to think of a proposal that she received from the creator of the TLC herself, namely that of opening a cultural and linguistic exchange point in Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi.  It was, and on October 2nd, 2019 the adventure began. At 10.00 in the morning, 5 foreign women, gathered around a table at Carluccio's restaurant, drinking coffee and enjoying a croissant, began to pronounce the first words in Italian. (Those women are her close collaborators today, still together)

Sandra was ready to accept the challenge, even if already in 1995, when she lived in the Netherlands, she had experienced the linguistic cultural exchange in an evening session organized by the University of Leeuwarden and then put into practice during the art workshops that she attended with passion.

Within a few months the group began to grow and become more and more structured. Sandra's dream was to find people who could socialize not only through linguistic communication but also through the exchange of knowledge and skills. To date, May 2022, the Re_Creation group has experienced more than 50 activities of all kinds from art, to music,  study of different languages,  physical activity, international cooking, to playing games table, bowling meetings, walks, creative writing, fashion, psychology, visits  museums, silk painting, pilates,  organization of carnival parties with relative costumes, welcome dinners and aperitifs .. etc., and much more is boiling in the pot. Thanks to her constant, methodical, scrupulous work that kept her busy in the morning, afternoon, evening and sometimes even at night, Sandra can be satisfied with what she has created. A group in which Harmony, Serenity, Respect reign ... a small Oasis in the Desert.
